Description: This layer is used by Streets MOC to track work orders and work requests within the City of Redmond's assest management program. SidewalkAsset features are continuous lines from one intersection to the next, unlike the SidewalkEdge which is split based on changes in sidewalk category. The layer represents approximate location of the existing sidewalk.
Description: This layer provides a geographic location of stormwater pipes within the City of Redmond city limits. The locations of the pipes are derived from field surveys, field verification, paper and/or digital record drawings, and/or construction drawings. The initial data collection occurred within the AutoCAD software environment then migrated to using ESRI, Lynx, GeoMedia and is now maintained using ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, etc.). This layer is maintained on a daily basis.
Description: The datasets provides a geographic location of stormwater culverts within the City of Redmond city limits. The locations of the culverts were derived from a survey information, field verification, paper and electronic record drawings, and/or construction drawings. Mapping of the stormwater culverts was initiated in 1989 by the Stormwater Engineering Division. The initial mapping occurred within the AutoCAD (Autodesk) software environment. Over the years the information had migrated to the ArcCAD (ESRI), ArcView (ESRI), Lynx (Ch2MHill engineering), and finally to GeoMedia software and MS Access database. In July 2006, the Access database was migrated into SQL Server database Environmental as a feature class. The dataset is being maintained on daily basis by the GIS Services group
Description: The layer represents the recreational trails of various types in the City of Redmond. An existing trail segment is represented only if it has legal public access. A proposed trail segment is represented if it has been adopted in the Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture & Conservation Plan, the Transportation Master Plan or Zoning Code. Trails owned and/or maintained by the City of Redmond and other entities are represented.
Description: The layer represents the land designated as parks or open space owned and operated by the City of Redmond. All of the boundaries of the parks are derived from cadastral data. When a park is made up of more than one parcel of land, the single polygon in Park representing the park is the combination of the multiple parcels
